The Bihar elections are over. A clear majority has emerged, and only the oath-taking ceremony is pending. Yet, political speculation has already begun. Some leaders still believe that Nitish Kumar might abandon the BJP and join their side, form a new government, and comfortably run it for the next five years.

But the real question is: Why would he leave?

If he is already in the NDA alliance, can't he run a government for five years there as well?

People are forming their own perceptions — especially predictions that Nitish Kumar may not complete five years because the BJP might want its own Chief Minister. They believe he could be replaced and given a respectable post elsewhere. These are all speculative games.

"The current reality is simple: Nitish Kumar is the Chief Minister, and there is a strong possibility that he will continue for the full term."

🤔 Why the Unnecessary Speculation?

Political suggestions are being thrown at him, asking him to switch sides.

But if the same leaders had given serious suggestions to their own party members before the elections — advising them to work on the ground, understand public expectations, and focus on real issues — the results might have been different.

Now that they have lost, the habit of "taka jhanki" (constant political peeking and hoping) is still not gone. This clearly shows how desperate they are to return to power.

Of course, every political party wants to be in power — that's natural — but at least they should win on their own merit before dreaming again.

If you had won by just a few seats, some political engineering might have made sense. But now, after a clear loss, why try to lure leaders from the ruling side? Do you really think Nitish Kumar would come? And do you think the current government will sit quietly if he tries?

💡 My Take: Instead of wasting energy on this, leaders should analyze why their party lost, what mistakes were made, and why the public rejected them. That would be a far better use of time.

⚖️ Play Your Role as the Opposition

Opposition has a duty:

✅ Raise the right issues

✅ Go among the public

✅ Question the government when necessary

✅ Keep them accountable

Stop imagining that the government will fall any moment and you will magically get power again.

Do your job well, and the public may bring you back in the next election. But as of now, you need to put a full stop to this daydreaming — because nothing seems likely to change.

❓ Unanswered Questions

The government has been formed, yet many questions remain. Some raised by the opposition seem valid; some do not. Ultimately, the people of Bihar will decide which questions matter.

One such question is about schemes and benefits being distributed during the model code of conduct.

During elections, the distribution of ₹100 to women by the government should not have happened, yet the Election Commission neither stopped it nor commented on it. Things like this need to be controlled to ensure people's trust remains intact.

There are many such issues — and sooner or later, the government will have to answer them.

🗳️ On 'Vote Theft' Debate

What is vote theft, what is not — that debate is endless. Political parties constantly accuse each other. But beyond these accusations, we cannot ignore the basic needs of the people, which must be addressed by any government.

🙏 Expectations From the New Government

We hope this government works sincerely, does not run on false promises, and focuses on real development for the next five years.

Crime happens under every regime — no party can claim a perfectly clean record. But the rise in crime should now come down, and people's dignity must be protected.

Everyone deserves respect.
Let no community feel insulted or unsafe.

This is the expectation from the new government of Bihar.
