We proudly speak about freedom and rights, yet caste and social prejudice still shape our love, our relationships, and even our courage. In this blog — my honest reflections on why love often fails when society enters the picture.

Namaskar! Welcome everyone.
Let's talk honestly. We often see that one caste dislikes the other — sometimes even hates them. Sadly, that’s not surprising anymore. But have you ever seen genuine love between castes? That’s where the question begins. Why does hatred feel so common, but love across caste lines seem so rare?
There might be small exceptions, minor affections here and there, but overall, discrimination easily outweighs acceptance. Just look around — you’ll sense what I’m saying. And yes, I invite you to share your thoughts too — have you seen this happen or not?
"Freedom is often claimed loudly — until it tests family honor. Then, suddenly, silence wins over courage."
💭 From Love to Silence
Today’s youth proudly exercise their independence when they choose a boyfriend or girlfriend. They make their own decisions, often without asking parents — because they believe it’s their right. But the moment their relationship turns serious — when it reaches the stage of marriage — everything changes.
Suddenly, the same people start saying, “Our parents won’t agree.” The same freedom they once defended, now dissolves under family pressure.
Parents have their own perspective and fears — and that’s understandable. But what about those who once claimed their right to love freely? Why do they withdraw when their love demands real commitment?
⚖️ The Hypocrisy We Ignore
Adults claim they have constitutional rights, that they’re free individuals — “18 plus!” they say. But when love turns into marriage, many hide behind their family’s decision.
Among elders, this hypocrisy is even deeper. Their children may date freely, but when marriage across caste lines comes up, everything stops. Parents say: “No, this isn’t possible.”
So what do we call this? A modern mindset? Or selective freedom that vanishes at home?
💡 My Take: Our society glorifies rights — until those rights threaten traditional vanity. Real progress begins when love stops asking for permission to exist.
💔 Between Love and Honor
Many relationships end quietly. Some never reach marriage because parents interfere — and society sides with them. In extreme cases, it even leads to tragic outcomes like honor killings.
This isn’t just cruel — it’s a collapse of human dignity. Honor killings are not acts of love for family; they are acts of fear, of broken pride, and of social cowardice.
Teach your children to listen, not to fear.
Stand for truth, not for false pride.
Because a lost life can never be regained — but a changed mindset can save many.
