The government promotes the theme of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” — togetherness, development for all, and trust of all.
But an important question arises: do the current laws truly support this idea, or are they creating an atmosphere of fear?
"Equality should empower society, not push people to live in constant fear."
⚖️ Equal Opportunity and Legal Reality
On paper, laws are created to ensure justice and equal opportunity for everyone. This is absolutely necessary in a diverse society.
However, when rules become excessively strict, they may stop serving justice and instead start creating fear — especially for those labeled as forward or general category.
💡 My Take: Laws should protect victims, but they should also protect innocent people from lifelong consequences due to minor or unproven mistakes.
🎓 Universities Under Pressure
Universities today face intense pressure to act immediately on any complaint, regardless of its nature.
If they fail to take strict action, even their official recognition can be cancelled, putting the entire institution at risk.
🚨 Fear-Based Enforcement
To comply with such regulations, universities often have no option but to take extreme steps.
This can include dismissing students or staff — including those from general category backgrounds — even before a fair and complete investigation.
🙏 Expectations / Way Forward
We need laws that ensure justice without creating panic.
A system based on balance, due process, and trust will truly reflect the spirit of “Sabka Vishwas”.
Justice should correct mistakes, not destroy lives.
Equality works best when guided by fairness and wisdom.
This is the message and expectation from this blog.
